Olivia Wilde's Divorce

Olivia Wilde is divorcing her husband of eight years.  The news of this split was met with mixed reaction with men becoming overjoyed and women dismayed at the thought of losing their men to Ms. Wilde.
Olivia Wilde aka "Cleopatra"

It has been less than 100 hours since the news of her separation became public, but men are lining up to ask her out.  There are reports that men are camping out in front of her Hollywood home.  John Fitzsimmons, one of the men camping out to meet Wilde, said, "Many of us haven't camped out together like this since Star Wars Revenge of the Sith!  It's great to see old friends, but this time we're not in costume."

Did he leave office for her?
However, some believe that Wilde's divorce has done far more than cause science fiction fanatics to wait in line for the opportunity to ask her out.  Within forty-eight hours of news of Ms. Wilde's newly single status surfacing, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak appears to be stepping down.  Earlier Mubarak vowed to leave office once his term had expired, but an aide to Mubarak, speaking on the condition of anonymity, stated that "President Mubarak intended to serve out his term and ensure an orderly transition, but he really thinks Olivia is the one for him.  Tuesday's events caused him to reevaluate what was best for his love life and Egypt.  Simply put, Olivia is his Cleopatra."

Final verdict: Olivia Wilde's single status is fantastic for helping to reinvigorate the hopes and dreams of men across the world.  It apparently also caused Mubarak to leave office.  However, it should be noted that Ms. Wilde and your faithful and snarky reviewer are having an intimate dinner on Saturday night.  Sorry Hosni!
